Coyote Howl

Incredible run on this very cold morning.  With the windchill factor it was - 23 ℃. Saw a coyote in the distance.  It vanished quickly.  A bit later I heard howling.  I've never knowingly heard a coyote howl.  I ran toward the sound, hearing it two more times.  I reached the area of the sound and stood quietly.  Five minutes later I heard a really long and loud howl close by.  I believe this was my first time hearing a coyote howl.  Incredible!  It is coyote mating season after all!
